Today I got a A- mostly because I was running late and had relied on ms word to spell check ... it managed to get phytohaemagglutinin (go figure) but corrected diarrhoea to diarrhea which gained me my grammatically careless mark- I'm going back to crayons and paper

I admit I had to google "phytohaemagglutinin " lol I was wondering if it was a word :p :)

And I was wow... its a word and its actually interesting to read about it :)

Today we had a laboratory fire drill, not too bad we were out, reported and in Starbucks within 10 minutes or so



Head of Services went nuts as usual, usual lecture "what if that had been a real fire ?" - well kinda obvious, we'd use Costa ...

My housemates and I had our (ahem) allegedly better half s around for lunch and we invited Elizabeth cause we didn't think she would have anyone invite her anyplace: we even sent Ian in his Ford Ka to collect her before his MOT ran out :)



Laugh, hah, didn't stop all day - she was outrageous !!! She led us all on a 'modern' singalong (Abba) using an out of tune piano with a missing F - we were all sat around listening to her stories of the war (we guessed world war two), 'doodle bugs' (we googled that later) and her history of the condom had us cringing and crying



Two important lessons reader,



1. Never leave your only bottle of wine open near a pensioner

2. Never, ever, underestimate the olds - give 'em an inch they'll show you a mile

It takes three persons to play a railing ... who says you can't learn stuff on the internet

Trying to find 'John dies at the end' on Netflix ... hope there are no plot spoilers like on NCIS
